An intriguing story right up until the last chapter. Every chapter leads into the next in a logical progression, maintaining the suspence behind the story, with an unexpected twist in the plot at the end. A real page turner!
The pen-pictures at the start of each chapter set the scene and make you feel and experience that you are actually part of the story.
I am looking forward to the next novel featuring Detective Inspector Graves.

A most enjoyable read, a good unpredictable plot and twist at the end.
I enjoyed the original and honest prose, most unassuming and accessible.
